One major flaw in GV Connect is that it seems to require you to log in every time you want to use it, making it near-worthless for me. In my playbook that makes it far less useful than the native Google Voice app, since at the very least that one has push and doesn't require you to login every time you open the app.

However, I've never even been able to get GV Mobile+ to work, even after disabling everything the developer asked me to disable. Plus, GV Mobile+'s developer seems to be very much against any kind of dialogue with the people using his app. He updates sporadically if at all, and none of his troubleshooting has worked for me.

So to me, neither of these apps is of any use. The native Voice app seems to work just fine, other than caching slowly when the app has been closed for a while. That, plus I'm using an extension called SMS GV Extension that ties the native Messaging app into my Google Voice. It works like a charm and I would really recommend that over and above any of these cumbersome apps.
